To motivate sales representative to perform and maximize their commission entitlement, go for Volume commission scheme. After closing a certain number of sales or reaching certain sales revenue benchmarks within a defined period, the sales representative’s commission rate increases.
For example, your sales representatives may earn a 2% base commission on all units sold up to 19 units in sales within a month. Once they pass this mark, they will earn an additional +1% on top of the base commission on all sales including the first 19 units sold during that same period.
To illustrate, imagine that your sales representative has just sold 22 units of property within a month. All 22 units would be entitled for 3% commission (2% base + 1% performance bonus).
