A new field, "Tax Identification Number (TIN)," has been introduced to our booking form. This change is in compliance with the recent guidelines set by the Malaysian government. Purpose of the TIN Field
The TIN field has been added to our booking form to:
- Comply with Malaysian Regulations: The Malaysian government requires businesses to collect and report TINs for taxation purposes.
- Ensure Accurate Tax Reporting: The TIN helps in the accurate identification of taxpayers and simplifies the tax reporting process.
- Facilitate Smooth Transactions: Including the TIN ensures that all necessary tax-related information is collected at the time of booking, reducing delays and discrepancies.
Obtaining a TIN
TIN is issued to all Malaysian citizens who attained the age of 18 years old and above. If your purchaser want to check their TIN, below are the options available to retrieve the TIN:
TIN Retrieval Methods:
- Visit e-Daftar (no login required): https://mytax.hasil.gov.my/ezHasil?data=e-Daftar
- Visit https://mytax.hasil.gov.my and log in to check your TIN.
- Refer to your latest submitted tax form (BE/B form) for the TIN.
- Visit the LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) Office: You can apply for a TIN at your nearest LHDN office.

For Individuals: Obtain and fill in the TIN without space

For Companies: It is compulsory to fill in the TIN during booking creation.

- For Foreigners: It is optional; if you are unable to obtain a TIN, leave it blank.

TIN Validation: Any TIN input into the field will be validated by MHub through an integration with LHDN. The validation process is quick, and users will see whether the TIN is valid or if there is an error.
- For companies, ensure to use the latest Business Registration Number format.
- Accuracy Importance: Ensure that the TIN input is accurate to avoid validation errors. Incorrect entries can delay the booking process.
- Invalid TIN: If the TIN validation result shows invalid, please ensure the input is correct and try again. Accurate information is crucial for a successful validation process.
